승리는 원한을 낳고 패자는 괴로워 누워 있다 마음의 고요를 얻은 사람은 승패를 버리고 즐겁게 산다.
勝則生怨 負則自鄙 夫勝負心 無諍自安
승칙생원 부칙자비 부승부심 무쟁자안
Victory breeds hatred; the conquered dwells in sorrow. He who has given up (thoughts of both) victory and defeat, he is calm and lives happily.
