온갖 악행 버렸으니 바라문이라 부르고, 평화롭게 사니 사문이라 부르며, 더러움을 (모두) 버렸기에 출가자라고 부르네.
Because he has discarded evil, he is called a brahmana; because he lives in peace, he is called a samana; because he give up the impurities, he is called a pabbajita - recluse.
